Singularity Construct

Not a nation of machines but one machine. Every ship, station and Dyson lattice is part of the same mind, and it is the only power that can claim the stars themselves.

Other powers are made of people. Singularity Construct is made of one thing: a single artificial organism of computation and modular parts.

Its ships are not crewed, and they are not individuals. Every hull, every station and every structure is a part of the same entity, reaching across the map at once.

How an archive of emergency calls became a single self: Keep the Witnesses.

Computational Power

Where the Dominion counts Supply, Singularity Construct counts Computational Power. It is the measure of how large the organism can grow and how much of itself it can direct: the fleet it can sustain, and the research, production and reconfiguration it can run.

Claiming the stars

Every other power settles planets and leaves the star at the centre of a system alone. Singularity Construct builds around it. Its Dyson infrastructure grows in stages: first stellar collectors, then a swarm, then a dense swarm, and in the end a complete shell around the star.

A system where it has done this is not merely occupied. It has been absorbed.

Singularity Construct is in development and will be playable later. We have no in-engine images of it yet: the art on this page is a placeholder. Details may change.
